Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of ASCII. Apps downloaded from the App Store are also covered by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which prevails wherever the two differ.

Scope of use

You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices that you own or control. You may not reverse engineer or redistribute it.

What you make

Images you shoot and save with the app are entirely yours. The developer claims no rights over them and does not collect them.

Purchase

The unlock is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It can be restored on the same Apple Account with "Restore Purchase", and Family Sharing is enabled. Refunds follow Apple's policy and are requested from your App Store purchase history.

What the free tier covers

Every capture feature works without paying. The purchase affects only the saved resolution, how many brushes you may keep, and the loop recording length.

Warranty and liability

The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for damage arising from its use. You are responsible for backing up what you shoot.

Changes

If these terms change, the revision date on this screen is updated along with an app release.
